Kohinoor Community Care was founded from a place of lived experience, professional expertise, and a deep personal commitment to compassionate care.
At age 14, Emad — our Director and Registered Manager — became an unpaid carer for his mother during her cancer journey. This early responsibility shaped his understanding of the emotional impact of illness, the importance of dignity, and the need for reliable, compassionate support. This personal journey is the foundation of the company's values and its commitment to high-quality, person-centred care.
Based in Southend-on-Sea, we serve individuals and families across Essex — providing a range of domiciliary care services that are always tailored to the person, never the other way around. We take the time to understand each client's unique needs, preferences, and life story, building care plans that truly reflect who they are.
Our service specialises in:
